Facial Hair?

At the beginning of my transition, I was taking biotin vitamins to help increase my facial hair growth. I didn't grow much at all, aside from a tiny amount of peach fuzz, so I can't really say that there was a lot of benefits from this, but in my opinion it didn't hurt taking it.
My facial hair did not really start appearing until about a year on testosterone, and even from there, the growth was very slow and was only on the underside of my chin and down my neck. Currently, two years* on testosterone, my facial hair grows all under my chin and on my neck, and it is slowly creeping up my cheeks.
One thing a lot of guys use to increase beard growth is using minoxidil, AKA Rogaine. This has shown a lot of improvement for most of the guys that pursue the usage. However, if you decide to use minoxidil and then later decide to discontinue usage, there is a strong possibility that you will experience hair loss. I was honestly thinking of using minoxidil myself until my cosmetologist girlfriend warned me of the consequences of discontinuing usage.
So, will you get facial hair?
The truth is, you won't really know. It's honestly mostly about genetics, and if it's in your genes, then you just need patience.
*As of 2/15/2019, I should be almost 3 years on testosterone, however I discontinued use in 08/2018 in effort to restart my menstrual cycle so I may preserve my eggs cryogenically.
