Insurance Came Through!

After finally battling with the financial coordinator from Boston IVF, we once again called our insurance company and asked if my egg freezing was a covered service, once again, we heard "Yes.". However this time, my mom threw a hint of discrimination towards me around on the phone to a member services representative and she ended up taking care of my whole issue. She even referred us to a case manager who is going to be working with us directly to help insure I get my services covered. Sometimes, the insurance company isn't the bad guy.
That night I began taking birth control to help reign in my period into control of Boston IVF so they will be able to figure out when will be the best time to retrieve my eggs. I have taken 4 pills so far, and I am miserable. I know that in the end this will be worth it, but knowingly taking this pill every night isn't doing it for me right now. Hopefully this will be able to be over with as soon as possible. On this coming Monday, 4/8/19, I have to go in for an ultrasound. This ultrasound is "invasive". Not looking forward to that.
Now, to figure out the mess that's been happening at Johns Hopkins...
