Laser Hair Removal VS Electrolysis

It's no secret that in order for you to get phalloplasty, you need to have some hair removed. The best two methods for getting the hair off is Laser Hair Removal (LHR) or Electrolysis. LHR is NOT permanent hair removal, it is permanent hair reduction. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal procedure approved by the FDA.

At first, I wanted to do only electrolysis. I hadn't really considered LHR because I have only heard good things about electrolysis for hair removal. So I set up a consultation with an electrolysist and I explained to her what I wanted to do, and she informed me that it would take much longer and a lot more money to do electrolysis on my whole arm. She recommended that I go have LHR, and then come back to finish what the laser didn't get.

Currently, I've had 5 sessions of LHR and the hair on my arm is pretty much completely gone. I have one more session scheduled for April, and then the medical spa gave me 2 free sessions which I will use months down the road. After my last session of LHR is performed, I will wait a couple of weeks and then go to the electrolysis I had a consultation with.
